Cerumen, also known as earwax, is one of the main causes of problems with sound amplifiers. During use, cerumen can penetrate your sound amplifiers and partially or completely block the sound passage. For optimal care of your Beurer sound amplifiers, we recommend replacing the cerumen filters regularly. By using a filter, you can prevent damage to your sound amplifiers and thus maintain the function of the devices in the long term.

Since the cerumen production is individual, we recommend that you check the filters before each use. As soon as the sound output of the sound amplifiers appears weaker or quieter, or even cerumen is already visible, the cerumen filter must be changed.
