Beauty & Grooming
Look your best. Starting with your smile.
A brighter smile, skin that feels looked after, hair that behaves and nails that are done — with things that are a pleasure to pick up and that go on working. Our sonic toothbrushes are the range everyone is asking about this year, and they sit alongside Kellermann's German-made nail tools and Beurer's facial and body care devices. All of it officially supported here, so the brush heads and refills are still on the shelf next year.

Hair, skin, nails: what actually matters
Hair styling: heat you can control
The coating and the temperature range do more for your hair than the wattage on the box. Ceramic-coated plates spread heat evenly so no spot scorches, and a choice of settings lets fine or coloured hair stay at the low end while thick hair gets the heat it needs (the HS 50 has three settings from 120 to 220 °C; the HS 20 runs 160 to 200 °C). An ion function counters static, which is what causes fly-aways (HC 80, HT 10). If mornings are short, a hot-air brush dries and shapes in one pass and builds volume at the root (HT 80, HC 45), and a straightening brush smooths in a single stroke (HS 60). For thick or long hair choose the 2200 W dryer with the AC motor (HC 80); for travel, the folding 1300 W dryer (HC 17) and the cordless straightener that runs 30 minutes on a charge (HS 20).
Hair removal: what IPL does, and does not
IPL sends pulses of light into the hair follicle and deactivates it, so regrowth slows over the weeks of use. It is for long-term reduction, not a once-off shave. The safety is built in: a pulse only fires when the window is in full contact with the skin, a UV filter blocks harmful rays, and the newer models add a skin-tone sensor that adjusts the energy (IPL 5800, IPL 8800+). Not every combination of skin tone and hair colour responds to IPL; the manual for each device lists which ones do, so check before you buy. A full-body session on the lowest setting takes about 20 to 26 minutes, and the lamps are rated for 250,000 to 1,000,000 pulses, which is years of use (IPL 10000+, IPL 7800). Cordless models work anywhere (IPL 8500, IPL 8800+). For the quick tidy-ups in between there is a facial trimmer for lip, brow, nose and ears (HL 16), a wet-and-dry epilator that also shaves and trims (HL 76) and a wet-and-dry lady shaver with an exfoliating head (HL 36).
Skin: a brush does what hands cannot
A rotating brush lifts what a flannel leaves behind. Beurer's facial brush with four heads was measured at up to six times the cleansing of washing by hand, with a sensitive head for delicate skin and a one-minute timer so you do not overdo it (FC 95). Silicone brushes with adjustable intensity suit reactive skin (FC 52, 15 levels). For blackheads, a vacuum pore cleanser with three attachment sizes does the extraction without squeezing (FC 41). For the body, a waterproof brush with a removable long handle reaches the back and exfoliates in the shower (FC 55, FC 25). All the brush heads are stocked as spares.
Nails and feet: steel or electric
Kellermann's scissors, nippers, files and tweezers are hardened, nickel-plated Solingen steel, made by the firm since 1927, and you can replace a single tool rather than the set (the nail clippers and non-steel pieces are made elsewhere). An electric set does the shaping, filing and callus work with sapphire and felt attachments: seven attachments and two speeds to start (MP 41), ten attachments on mains power (MP 62) or cordless with a two-hour battery (MP 84), a studio unit that runs to 20,000 rpm (MP 100), and a three-in-one station with a UV/LED dryer and dust extractor for gel and acrylic nails (MP 200). Beurer notes the attachments are suitable for people with diabetes when used gently at low speed, and that the motor should rest after 20 minutes. The UV/LED dryer cures both gel types with three timer settings (MP 48).
Light and mirrors: see what you are doing
Most make-up and grooming mistakes are lighting mistakes. A 5x magnifying side is what you need for brows, tweezing and eye make-up (BS 49, BS 45), an LED ring gives even light without shadows, and a mirror with warm, cool and natural modes shows how the make-up will look in daylight (33 LEDs, 3000 to 6500 K). The battery-operated mirrors keep working through load shedding (BS 59).
Where our brands are different
Safety comes as standard. Beurer has made health devices in Ulm since 1919, and the beauty range comes from the same workshops. That is why a straightener switches itself off after 30 minutes (HS 15), an IPL device will not fire in the air, and a manicure set has a rest rule for its motor.
Spares for the life of the device. Facial-brush heads, shaver foils and cutting blocks, epilator and lady-shaver attachments, sapphire and felt sets, and the replacement light cartridge for the IPL 10000+ are stocked here, so the thing you liked keeps working.
Solingen steel, honestly described. Kellermann 3 Swords has carried one of the oldest marks in German cutlery since 1927. The steel pieces are made in Solingen; the nail clippers and non-steel pieces are made elsewhere, and the listing says which.
Cover settled in South Africa. Beurer personal-care devices carry a three-year warranty and Kellermann's Perfection line a two-year warranty, both handled here through the official importers, not by courier to Europe.

Frequently asked questions
Are your Beurer and Kellermann products genuine?
Yes. We buy from each brand's official South African importer. That is why the warranty and the spare parts are handled here.
What is the warranty?
Beurer personal-care devices carry a three-year warranty, handled here in South Africa. The exact term for any product is shown on its own page.
Does IPL work on every skin tone and hair colour?
No. IPL needs contrast between the hair and the skin, so each device lists the skin tones and hair colours it is made for. The newer models have a skin-tone sensor that adjusts the energy, and none will fire unless the window is fully on the skin. Check the listing or ask us before you buy.
Do the manicure attachments fit every Beurer set?
No. Each set has its own replacement pack (for example the seven-piece set for the MP 41 and the ten-piece set for the MP 64 and MP 84). The product page of each spare says which devices it fits.
Do you stock replacement parts?
Yes — brush heads for both handle types, facial-brush heads, shaver foils and cutters, nail-file and callus-remover discs, for as long as the importer supplies them.
Can I buy Kellermann tools individually, or only as a set?
Both. We stock the cased manicure and pedicure sets as well as individual scissors, nippers, clippers and files, so you can replace one tool rather than the whole set.
How quickly will my order arrive?
Delivery takes 1 to 3 working days from our Johannesburg warehouse, free over R650. Collection from Honeydew is by arrangement only and not instant: we book the order out, pack it and confirm your ready-for-collection notification first.
Beurer, Sanitas and Kellermann 3 Swords
Beurer was founded in Ulm, Germany, in 1919 and is still run from there, with products sold in 140 countries. Its beauty range came out of the same workshops as its medical devices, which is why a Beurer toothbrush knows when you are pressing too hard. Sanitas is a Beurer brand: the same build, a simpler range, a sharper price.
Kellermann 3 Swords carries one of the oldest marks in German cutlery. Three swords standing on their points have stood for Solingen steel since 1584, when they were the sign of the city's swordsmiths' and sword-cutlers' guild. The Kellermann family came out of that trade — Gustav Kellermann was for decades a partner in the Solingen steelware house F. Koeller, and his wife's family, the Vohs, were among the oldest steel families in the city — and the firm has carried the mark since 1927. The steel is still made in Solingen: the scissors, nippers, files and tweezers, hardened, nickel-plated and polished so the edges last. The nail clippers and the non-steel pieces are made elsewhere.
All three are imported and supported in South Africa by their official importers.
