Black November Giveaways: Rules

These rules apply to the yourLIFE.shop Black November weekly giveaways, which run from 00:00 on Monday 9 November to 23:59 on Monday 30 November 2026. By placing a qualifying order during a giveaway week, you accept these rules.

1. Promoter

The promoter is yourLIFE.shop (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2017/349779/07, of Unit 2 Insite Park, 5 Star Business Park, Honeydew, Johannesburg, 2170, South Africa.

2. The giveaways

There is one giveaway each week, with one prize. All times are South African Standard Time (SAST).

Week 1: Beurer GS 120 bathroom scale
Opens 00:00 Monday 9 November. Closes 23:59 Sunday 15 November.
Draw: 12:00 Monday 16 November.

Week 2: Beurer HC 17 compact travel hair dryer
Opens 00:00 Monday 16 November. Closes 23:59 Sunday 22 November.
Draw: 12:00 Monday 23 November.

Week 3: Beurer KS 19 digital kitchen scale, black
Opens 00:00 Monday 23 November. Closes 23:59 Monday 30 November. This week runs eight days, to include Cyber Monday.
Draw: 12:00 Tuesday 1 December.

Each prize is new and in its original box. Product images are for illustration, and packaging may vary.

3. Who can enter

• The giveaways are open to people aged 18 or older with a delivery address in South Africa.
• The people listed in clause 8 may not win.

4. How to enter

To enter a week's giveaway, do both of the following between that week's opening and closing times:

• Be on our email list when you place your order. This means you are subscribed to our marketing emails, with the email address you use for the order, before the order is placed. We check this against the subscription record in our store system. You can join on our website, or tick the box to receive our emails at checkout. If you already receive our emails, there is nothing more to do.
• Place a qualifying order on www.yourLIFE.shop, as set out in clause 5.

Each qualifying order is one entry into the draw for the week in which it was placed, so more qualifying orders mean more entries. Entries do not carry over to the following week.

If you unsubscribe after placing your order, your entry still stands.

There is no charge to enter.

5. A qualifying order

• Your order total must be more than R1,000.00, including VAT, after any discounts. Gift cards do not count towards it. An order of exactly R1,000.00 does not qualify.
• Only orders you place yourself on www.yourLIFE.shop qualify, whether you use a phone, tablet or computer. Orders taken by our team over the phone, on WhatsApp or by email, orders through other stores and marketplaces, and wholesale, trade or reseller orders do not.
• Only paid orders count. Card and instant EFT payments go through straight away. If you pay by ordinary EFT or bank deposit, the money must be in our account by 10:00 on the morning of the draw, so allow time for it to clear.
• An order that is cancelled before the draw, by you or by us (for example because of a pricing error, a stock shortage or a failed payment), or refunded so that it is worth R1,000.00 or less, is removed from the draw.

6. How the winner is chosen

• Each week's winner is drawn at random by computer from the order numbers of all valid entries for that week, at our offices in Honeydew, at the draw time in clause 2. The draw is done by our team and recorded.
• If a giveaway has to end early for a reason in clause 11, we still draw a winner from the entries received up to then.
• The result of the draw is final.

7. Telling the winner, and announcing the result

• We email the winner on the day of the draw, at the email address on the winning order, from an @yourlife.shop address.
• The winner has seven days from that email to reply and confirm their full name, South African ID or passport number and a delivery address in South Africa. The law requires us to keep these, with a receipt for the prize: either one the winner signs when the prize arrives, or the courier's signed proof of delivery. If we have no reply within seven days, or the winner cannot accept the prize, we draw another winner in the same way, and these rules apply to that winner too.
• We will never ask a winner for money, a fee, banking details or card details to receive a prize.
• We announce each winner by first name only, with a photo of the prize, within three business days of the draw, on our Black Friday page. A winner who would rather not be named can tell us at any time and still receives the prize.

8. Who may not win

The following people may not win: directors, members, partners, employees, agents and consultants of yourLIFE.shop (Pty) Ltd and of any company that controls it or is controlled by it; the suppliers of the prizes and anyone else who supplies goods or services for these giveaways; our advertising, marketing and promotion service providers and their directors, members, partners, employees, agents and consultants; and the spouses, life partners, business partners, parents, children, brothers and sisters of anyone in these groups.

9. The prize

• Each prize is the product named in clause 2. We deliver it by courier to the winner's address in South Africa, at no cost to the winner, within 10 business days of receiving the winner's details.
• Except as set out below, a winner cannot exchange a prize for cash, credit, a discount or another product, or transfer it to someone else.
• If a prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond our control, we replace it with a new product of the same or higher value, or give the winner a yourLIFE.shop store credit of the same value.
• Prizes carry the standard Beurer South Africa warranty for that product.
• If a payment on the winning order is reversed or charged back, the order was never paid and was not a valid entry, and we may recover the prize or its retail value. Nothing in these rules limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002.

10. Your personal information

• We use the details on your qualifying order to run the draw. Only order numbers go into the draw itself. For the winner, we also use their name, ID or passport number, phone number and address to deliver the prize and keep the receipt, and share the address and phone number with our courier for delivery.
• We publish the winner's first name only, as set out in clause 7.
• We keep the draw records, including the winner's receipt, for three years, as the law requires, and then delete them.
• Entering is not what subscribes you: you receive our marketing emails because you joined our list, and you can unsubscribe at any time with the link at the bottom of every email.

11. General

• Before handing over a prize, we may check the winner's identity, age and eligibility against their ID document and the winning order. A winner who cannot be verified, or who gives false details, forfeits the prize and we draw again.
• We may disqualify any entry, or withhold or recover a prize, where in our reasonable opinion an entry breaks these rules or is part of an attempt to abuse the giveaways. We treat orders with the same email address, phone number or delivery address as coming from the same person. Abuse includes entering under another person's name or details to get around clause 8, using false details, orders placed and then cancelled or returned in a pattern that suggests abuse, and orders placed for resale.
• We may amend, suspend or end a giveaway where it is reasonable to do so, for example in the event of a technical fault or circumstances beyond our control. Any change is published on this page. Entries already made remain valid.
• In the event of a conflict between these rules and any email, post or other promotional material, these rules prevail.
• Obvious errors in our emails or posts do not bind yourLIFE.shop.
• These rules are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
