Replacement Parts and Wearing Parts
Please note that the gel pads will need to be replaced if they do not stick securely.

The Gel Pads Are Not Sticking to the Skin – What Should I Do?
Before each application, clean the skin and avoid using any skin cream or oils before treatment.
The Menstrual Relax+ detects whether the device is in contact with the body.
If there is insufficient contact, the device will beep and switch itself off.
If the device is attached but still beeps, clean the gel pads and restart the device.
If continuous beeping persists after cleaning, replace the gel pads.
Do not use the Menstrual Relax+ again until the gel pads have been replaced.
Uneven adhesion of the gel pads may lead to skin irritation or lesions.
How to Clean the Gel Pads
Clean the adhesive surface of the gel pads with a damp, lint-free cloth.
NB: Do not use chemical or abrasive cleaning agents.
Allow the pads to air-dry before reattaching.
Notes on Charging Your EM 55 Menstrual Relax+
Note: Before first use, charge the device for a minimum of 2 hours.
Make sure to connect the EM 55 to the supplied USB-C charging cable and a compatible USB power source (output: max. 5 V / 2 A).
NB: For optimal performance, use a 2-Amp (2000 mA) power supply. Most chargers only provide a 1 Amp power supply. Charging via a 1 Amp charger, laptops or low-output USB ports may result in longer charging times, shorter battery time, and reduced heat or intensity.

Warnings & Safe Use (Important)
• For abdominal use only for menstrual and endometriosis pain. Do not use on the head, neck, chest, heart area, genitals, or over the spine.
• Do not use if you are pregnant, have a pacemaker or other implanted electrical device, metal implants (including IUDs), insulin pump, epilepsy, cancer, heart rhythm disorders, or acute gastrointestinal conditions.
• Do not use on broken, irritated, inflamed, or sensitive skin, open wounds, rashes, or healing scars.
• For adults only and for personal, at-home use. Not suitable for children.
• Do not use while sleeping, driving, bathing, or showering, or during activities where sudden muscle contractions could be unsafe.
• Keep away from strong electromagnetic sources (1m) such as microwaves, shortwave or microwave devices, and keep mobile phones and other RF devices at least 30 cm away during use.
• External use only. Use only with original Beurer gel pads and accessories.
• Stop use immediately if treatment feels unpleasant, causes skin irritation, dizziness, or excessive heat.
• If you have an existing medical condition or are receiving medical treatment, consult your doctor before use.
• The device automatically switches off after 20 minutes. Wait at least 30 minutes between treatment applications.
