In a study done the majority of patients (>80%) reported pain relief from EM 50 (the smaller and first device developed by Beurer) during the first three days of the cycle. In parallel, a reduction in the use of analgesics was observed in 41% of patients. This result is confirmed by the high willingness to recommend the device by 96% (57 of 59 patients) and the fact that 98% (58 of 59 patients) stated that they would continue to use the device. Thus, it can be concluded that the medical device is useful for a broad user group.
