Collagen is a protein responsible for healthy joints, skin elasticity, hair beauty – promoting over all physical well being. It’s in our bones, muscles and blood, comprising 3/4 of our skin and 1/3 of the protein in our body. As we age, our existing collagen brakes down and gets harder for our body to produce more. Collagen peptides, are the result of braking down collagen by means of enzyme (the enzyme cuts the large collagen molecule into small fragments – peptides – that our bodies can easily digest & efficiently absorb).
