The Sanitas SFT 53 Digital In-Ear Infrared Thermometer delivers fast, accurate and hygienic temperature measurements for the whole family. Using advanced infrared measurement technology, this medical-grade thermometer measures body temperature in seconds, and can also be used for surface/object temperature and room temperature readings. Designed for reliability and convenience, the SFT 53 automatically stores the last 10 measurements (including date and time), making it easy to track temperature trends. With interchangeable protective caps for hygienic use, it’s ideal for both adults and children. IMPORTANT USE NOTES
- The ear thermometer is intended for measuring the body temperature in the ear – do not use for measurements in other parts of the body
- Only use Sanitas protective caps for accurate results and replace the cap after every use to prevent cross-contamination.
- Do not use on ears with infections, injuries, or immediately after bathing/swimming.
- Results may vary between left and right ears - always measure the same ear for consistency.
- For infants under 6 months, ear measurement may be unreliable due to narrow ear canals.
- Please note this device is not waterproof - do not immerse in baby food, bath water, or any other liquids.
- Do not subject the device to mechanical impacts. Keep the device away from liquids, direct sunlight, and electromagnetic interference.
- Portable and mobile HF communication systems may interfere with this device. The use of the device may be limited in the presence of electromagnetic disturbances.
- Mobile phones usually do not cause problems for small medical devices like digital thermometers. However, for best use of the device, it is recommended to keep mobile phones at least 30 cm away while measuring.
