The Beurer Germany 2-in-1 Steam Vaporiser comes with 2 Mask Attachments; the Aroma Mask and the Facial Sauna Mask:
1) Aroma Mask
The aroma mask is used with the steam function to safely vaporise/nebulise liquids, such as saline solutions and essential oils, which is particularly beneficial in the cold and allergy season
Great for easing congested sinuses, colds, coughs and allergies
Regular steam inhalation can help improve poor respiratory health caused by air pollution
2) Facial Sauna Mask
The steam vaporiser also includes a facial sauna mask for cosmetic facial care, aromatherapy, and inhalation.
Steaming the face moisturises the skin for a healthy glow.
It opens pores for more effective cleansing and allows the active ingredients in masks and facial creams to penetrate deep into the skin.
In addition to steam, it can be used with aroma.
How To Get the Most from Your SI 40 Steam Vaporiser with the Aroma Mask and Essential Aroma Oils and/or Saline Solution:
This device is specifically designed to generate steam using vaporisation, to humidify your skin, nasal passages and the ambient air.
Follow the instructions for filling the water heater tank with distilled water only, and the aroma container with either essential oils and/or saline/salt water for nebulisation, being careful not to exceed the MAX markings
Please ensure the tank is secure, to ensure it operates correctly and so that there is no spillage of hot water that could cause injury.
After approximately 2-4 minutes, the device will start to produce steam.
Please Note: The device can take up to 4 minutes to create steam and be ready for use.
The device will not function until enough steam has been generated to begin treatment.
For best use of the device, sit in an upright and relaxed position at a table and not in an armchair.
The steam can reach temperatures of 43 degrees Celsius.
Please Note: Since each person‘s temperature sensitivity is different, do not hold your face directly against the mask.
The hot steam could cause burn injuries.
We recommend starting use with sufficient distance. Gradually reduce the distance.
Close your eyes during the treatment and protect heat-sensitive areas.
Use the variable steam regulator to produce either smaller or larger steam particles depending on your comfort and needs.
Breathe in deeply.
Please Note: The maximum duration of treatment is approximately 10 minutes
This is when all the steam in the container will have evaporated.
As soon as the production of steam starts to diminish turn the ON/OFF switch to the “OFF” position.
Allow the device to cool down completely (approximately 10 minutes) before cleaning.
Clean the device and accessories after every use.

How To Get The Most From Your SI 40 Steam Vaporiser With The Facial Sauna Mask For Cosmetic Facial Care:

Bend forward far enough that your face is over the mask, being careful not to hold your face directly against the mask to prevent injury.

Do not use the facial sauna for more than a total of 20 minutes per day.
It is recommended that 2 to 3 treatments are performed per week
Allow the device to cool down completely (approximately 10 minutes) before cleaning.
Clean the device and accessories after every use.
Note:
It is advisable to replace the facial sauna mask and aroma mask annually.
Any wear and tear of the masks could prevent a good fit on the device and faulty functioning.
For hygiene reasons, each individual should have their own facial sauna mask and/or aroma mask

Note:
The device has a thermal fuse, which switches the steam vaporiser off if it overheats.
In case of the device overheating, the light on the ON/OFF switch turns off automatically.
If this happens, please follow the instructions for use before attempting to use the steam vaporiser again.
