FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs)
Q: Can I use Vicks or menthol rub?
No. Do not use Vicks, menthol rubs, or any greasy/sticky substances – they can damage the device. Use only distilled water, saline solution, or essential oils.
Q: How long does it take to produce steam?
Steam begins within 2–4 minutes of turning the unit on.
Q: How long is each session?
Up to 10 minutes, depending on water quantity. The steam stops automatically when the water runs out.
Q: Can I use it every day?
Yes, for nasal inhalation. For skincare, limit facial steaming to 2–3 times per week, no more than 20 minutes daily.
Q: What’s the difference between the two masks?
The Inhalation Mask is for cold, allergy, and sinus relief. The Facial Sauna Mask is for hydration, skincare prep, and pore cleansing
Q: Why is my vaporiser not working or turning off?
- If using the aroma function, have both the aroma container AND water heater tank been filled?
- Is there enough water or saline in the tank (min. 2 ml)?
- Is the suction tube in place and reaching the bottom?
- Has the device been reassembled correctly after cleaning?
- Are the batteries or power supply functional?
- Is the nozzle clean and unblocked?
- Are there air bubbles in the tank? If so, gently swirl to release them.
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTES
If using the aroma function, make sure that both the aroma container AND the water heater tank have been filled - the aroma function will not work if the water heater tank has not also been filled.
Do not exceed MAX water level.
Always secure the tank before use to avoid hot water spills.
Wait 2–4 minutes for the device to be ready.
Steam reaches ~43°C – do not press your face directly against the mask.
Maximum session time: 10 minutes
The unit has a built-in thermal fuse to prevent overheating.
