The JURA C9 brings two complete coffee worlds together in a footprint that slots onto almost any kitchen counter. On one side sits classic hot brew, pulling full-bodied espresso, rich coffee and silky milk specialities exactly the way you'd expect from a Swiss-engineered machine. On the other is the innovative light brew, a gently extracted, ready-to-drink coffee with a softer, more aromatic character that opens up a new way to enjoy your cup. Behind both worlds sits a Professional Aroma Grinder (P.A.G.), a full-size brewing unit and three distinct brewing processes, together unlocking 17 barista-grade speciality coffees at the touch of a button.

17 speciality coffees across hot brew and light brew
The C9 never makes you choose between range and quality. Its menu spans the everyday essentials such as espresso, ristretto, lungo, cappuccino, latte macchiato and caffè latte, right alongside the trend specialities coffee fans actually order: the flat white, cortado and espresso macchiato. Prefer plant-based milk? The milk system handles milk alternatives beautifully, whipping up dense, stable, velvety foam for every cup. Whether you want an intense espresso topped with microfoam or a long, mellow light brew, the C9 has it covered.
The Light Extraction Process: mild, aromatic and ready to drink
Light brew is the C9's signature move. Using the Light Extraction Process, the machine brews at a gentler temperature of around 60°C and with less ground coffee than a conventional shot. The result is a cup that's mild, fragrant and ready to drink the moment it lands in front of you, with no waiting around for it to cool. It's a completely different flavour profile: lighter on the palate, delicate and easy to enjoy at any hour. For anyone who finds traditional espresso too intense, light brew is a welcome change of pace.
Hot brew and the Pulse Extraction Process
When you want intensity, the C9 delivers. Standard brewing covers your daily cup, while the Pulse Extraction Process (P.E.P.) drives hot water through the grounds in short, optimised pulses, ideal for short specialities like ristretto and espresso, where it draws out maximum aroma and body. A dedicated high-intensity setting uses more coffee per shot for an even bolder, fuller extraction. The full-size variable brewing unit (5 to 16 g), a 15-bar high-performance pump and a fast Thermoblock heating system handle the hard work, so every cup is consistent from the first to the last.
Tailor every cup exactly to taste
Few compact machines hand you this much control. Adjust coffee strength across 10 levels, grind consistency across 7 levels and brewing temperature across 3 levels, then dial in precisely how much water, milk and milk foam you want. A separate powder chute, activated easily through the menu, lets you brew decaffeinated coffee or a second variety without ever touching the bean hopper. Your preferences save automatically, so your perfect cup is always just one press away.
Connected convenience with Wi-Fi Connect and J.O.E.
Add the optional Wi-Fi Connect to bring the C9 onto your home network and pair it with the JURA Operating Experience (J.O.E.) app. Straight from your phone or tablet you can fine-tune every speciality, create personal taste profiles, follow guided how-to videos and start a brew without leaving the sofa. It turns an already intelligent machine into a fully personalised coffee experience.
Design that earns its place on the counter
The C9 looks every bit as good as it brews. Its sculpted convex-concave front gives the machine a premium, confident presence, while wave-shaped detailing on the water tank and the chrome-plated cup grille ties the whole design together. The 2.8-inch colour display with buttons sits flush within the front panel for clean, intuitive operation. Finished in high-gloss panels and available in Piano Black, Piano White or the award-winning Piano Inox, the C9 is understated, refined and instantly recognisable as a JURA. It packs serious performance into a compact body that feels at home in any kitchen.
Hygiene and efficiency, fully automated
Maintenance is effortless and certified. Integrated rinsing, cleaning and descaling programmes run on demand, the CLARIS Smart+ filter cartridge is recognised by automatic filter detection, and a monitored drip tray keeps everything tidy, all backed by TÜV-certified JURA hygiene. On the efficiency side, Energy Save Mode (E.S.M.), a Zero-Energy Switch and a programmable switch-off time keep standby power draw to just 0.5 W, so the machine sips energy at rest and powers up quickly when you're ready.
